Trees for schools

Here at Mycorrhizal Systems, we love trees. No really, we do… without trees, where would we collect all the truffles? To help trigger enthusiasm for trees and wildlife in the younger generation, we’re planning on giving away free trees to schools  across the EU.  Planting young trees can help create a wildlife-zone and children can watch their trees grow with each school year. Although the trees aren’t truffle trees, they will grow into important wildlife habitats. If you’d like trees for your school, please get in contact- we have a number of free trees for delivery in the autumn, but stocks are limited so please get you requests in early!
Later in the year we’re planning on rolling this out to several of our territories outside of Europe, so please keep reading the newsletter for further updates…

The prime tree planting time November – March is upon us. Traditionally, November to March are good months to plant, as the trees are dormant and planting in the winter allows the truffley-roots plenty of time to settle in before mycorrhiza and root-growth starts again in spring.
